i recently had a wonderful stay at the hotel. the comfort twin room exceeded my expectations with its spacious layout and added amenities like a nespresso machine. the breakfast offered an impressive selection, and dinner service was top-notch, especially thanks to the attentive staff.

My stay at Van Der Valk Hotel in Arnhem had some highlights. The room layout was spacious and comfortable. The surrounding nature was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing walks. Breakfast offered a variety of options, although the quality was inconsistent compared to other locations I've visited. Staff at the reception and bar were friendly and helpful, which made the experience feel welcoming. However, I encountered a strong smoke smell coming from the vent in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, noise from people in the hallway disrupted my peace. The dining service was slow, especially during dinner when my meal took a significant amount of time to arrive. I also expected more from the heating. I felt a bit cold during my stay and needed to rely on a fan heater. Overall, the hotel has great potential, but some areas need attention for a more comfortable experience.

I really appreciated the super location, which made it so easy to visit both the Arnhem War Museum, just about 4 km away, and the beautiful parks nearby, perfect for long city walks after enjoying a great breakfast each morning.

The spacious Comfort Twin Room was a delight, with great coffee-making facilities. Dinner at the hotel was exceptional, featuring local dishes that exceeded expectations.

This hotel is pet-friendly and has spacious rooms with easy access to the parking area. While the breakfast was commendable and the location ideal for nature lovers, expect dated room decor and inconsistent dining service. A heads-up, there might occasionally be annoying noises from neighboring rooms. Just know what to expect!

Excellent buffet breakfast

I loved how the restaurant offered an amazing breakfast buffet and the cozy atmosphere made dining there a real treat. The spa had a great sauna and a relaxing steam room, which helped me unwind after a long day. Just note, there was a bit of a stale scent in the bathroom but it didn’t ruin my experience. definitely check this place out! 😊
